Since 1978, The Western Arizona Humane Society
has been dedicated to the rescue,care, and placement of
unwanted and homeless animals and the elimination
of pet overpopulation.
W.A.H.S. services the area of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, home of the world
famous London Bridge. Our Beautiful city sits along the
eastern shore of the Colorado river, approximately 200 northwest of
Phoenix, Arizona and 150 south of Las Vegas, Nevada. We enjoy beautiful
climate and Sonoran desert scenery.

During the past year W.A.H.S, recived 893 strays, 1,344 turnovers, 31 quarantined, 38 agencey assisit, 139 wildlife,
and were able to place or reclaim 1808 pets.
We have placed dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, iguanas and birds.
