These are images straight out of the camera. I wanted to show what you can expect from using the camera in a typical outing. In this case a trip to a carnival in town. Not an ideal condition for any camera. It was dark so flash was used on every shot. I was not paying much attention to focus control--just pointing and shooting. I was happy with the results.

Macro was on for this shot even though the range was about three feet.

Very quick shot. The kids were not going to stop for long so I just clicked without waiting for the auto-focus to lock first. Plus I wasn't too still with the camera.

Again, a dark yet unevenly lit scene. I shot this from outside the ride, not on it.

I took this when it was pretty dark (flash of course) and was not expecting much. I got more then I expected.

This is the only pic that I took my time with. I had the kids stop for a moment so I could get a good shot.
