DRUGS - FORT MOHAVE
MAGNET (Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team) officers arrested three people, Wednesday (10/17) evening while carrying out a search warrant. During an ongoing drug investigation, officers obtained a warrant to search a residence at 4409 Pima Drive, in Fort Mohave, and took into custody two residents, Eugene Wilson Porter, 46, and Penny Renea Berry, 38. Both were charged with possession of chemicals and equipment to manufacture dangerous drugs, a class-3 felony; manufacturing dangerous drugs, a class-2 felony; possession of dangerous drugs, a class-4 felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class-6 felony. Berry and Porter were also found to have outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrants.  Items seized were not disclosed. Porter was also charged with having an unlicensed dog, a misdemeanor, after a dog reportedly owned by Porter bit two officers during the search.  A third person contacted at the residence, William Martin Deckert, 42, Fort Mohave, was found to have a misdemeanor warrant issued by Bullhead Justice Court for failure to appear.  All three were taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County jail in Kingman.


FELONY THEFT / WARRANTS - LAKE HAVASU CITY
Mohave County Sheriff's (MCSO) deputies arrested David James Leonard, 30, and Lisa Ann Donovan, 37, both of Lake Havasu City, Tuesday (10/16) morning for felony theft. A Bureau of Land Management (BLM) officer conducted a traffic stop in the 4800 block of London Bridge on a 1989 Honda sedan, occupied by Leonard and Donovan, reported stolen out of Glendora, California, and contacted the MCSO to assist. A record check revealed both also had federal arrest warrants for possession of marijuana. Deputies took the two into custody and booked them into the Mohave County jail for possession of stolen property. The BLM officer also charged them with the warrants. 

PAROLE VIOLATION / DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff's (MCSO) deputies arrested Lee Jet Kennedy, II, 29, of Needles, Calif., early Tuesday (10/16) morning for felony parole violation and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Kennedy reportedly was pounding on the door of an apartment in the 9700 block of Prescott Drive at 2:00 am. He was located at the residence, appeared intoxicated, and told deputies he was visiting a relative, However, the resident said they did not know Kennedy.  A record check revealed Kennedy was on parole out of California and according to his parole officer, being in Arizona and consuming alcohol violated that parole. Kennedy was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County jail in Kingman without incident.

SEARCH - LAKE HAVASU CITY
A missing 9-year-old Lake Havasu City boy was found in good shape, Friday (10/12) evening.  Robert Pines, 35, told MCSO deputies that his son Skylar Chad Pines, 9, was riding a motorcycle in the desert east of Lake Havasu City while Robert followed in his truck. At about 3:00 pm, after crossing a ridge, Robert said he lost sight of his son and after searching for him for over two hours, he called the MCSO.  Other agencies were called out to assist including MCSO Search and Rescue from Kingman, a DPS helicopter, and BLM and Arizona State Parks rangers. At about 7:30 pm, Skylar Pines arrived at a residence in the 3000 block of Appletree Drive and called his father. He told deputies the chain on his motorcycle broke and he walked for about 5 hours across the desert until he came to the residence. Accept for sore feet, Skylar was in good condition.   

BURGLARY - FORT MOHAVE
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Ladawn Michelle Ross, 33, Desert Hills, Thursday (10/11) night on a felony warrant issued by Mohave County Superior Court for probation violation, and a misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court for failure to appear for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Deputies learned of the warrants and located Ross at about 2:00 pm in an apartment in the 2000 block of San Juan Drive, taking her into custody without incident. She was transported to Kingman and booked into jail.

FELONY WARRANT - LAKE HAVASU CITY

Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Castingway, 19, Talaqua, Oklahoma, early Friday (10/12) morning for 2nd degree burglary, a class-3 felony; criminal trespassing, and possession of burglary tools, both felonies. Deputies were called about 4:30 am to a burglary at a residence in the 4500 block of Camino Ejercito. The victim said he shouted at someone attempting to enter his back door and the suspect fled on foot knocking down a segment of fence. Deputies searched the area and located Castingway inside a trailer on Camino Colorado. Found with Castingway were a wrench, kitchen knife, and keys. The owner of the trailer where the suspect was found told deputies the trailer should have been unoccupied and no one had permission to stay there. Castingway was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Mohave County jail in Kingman. Deputies are also investigating Castingway's possible involvement in other burglaries reported recently in the area. 


WARRANT ARREST - BEAVER DAM
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested William Raymond Cooke, 58, Beaver Dam, Tuesday (10/9) evening on two misdemeanor warrants issued by Moccasin Justice court for DUI, and for failure to appear. Deputies learned of the warrants and located Cooke at his residence in the Beaver Birds RV Park in Beaver Dam, took him into custody without incident, and booked him into the Mesquite jail.
