ASSAULT - KINGMAN
He said they had been together for some time and Monday (10/22) at about 6:00 pm, he asked her to marry him. She said after her second refusal, he hit her in the face, knocked her out of a chair, pinned her to the floor and continued hitting her.  He said she hit him and had to have friends hold her back while he ran to his car for safety, but she got loose and threw a rock through the windshield of his car. Both showed minor injuries. Both went to jail.  Richard Francis Rhody, 62, and Tammy Sue Estes, 36, both of Kingman, were charged with misdemeanor assault. Estes was also charged with felony criminal damage. 

WARRANT ARREST - MOHAVE VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Richard Gainey, 29, Golden Valley on a warrant for parole violation, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia, all felony charges.  Deputies observed Gainey on Highway 95 at Honduras Road while riding a bicycle alongside two younger female pedestrians who appeared to be in violation of curfew.  When officers contacted the three subjects, the male fled the scene on his bicycle.  After a brief pursuit, Gainey jumped off his bicycle and proceeded on foot. Deputies caught up to Gainey who was hiding in some bushes.  He was taken into custody without further incident.  During a search of the area, officers found a syringe and a plastic bag containing a substance which Gainey admitted was methamphetamine.   A routine record check revealed the warrant issued out of California.  Gainey was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

MISSING PERSON - GOLDEN VALLEY
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a missing child, Sebastian Paul Carr, 2 1/2, Golden Valley, Saturday (10/20), at approximately 11:00 am.  Carr was last seen at his residence in the 2000 block of Santa Maria Road at approximately 8:00 am, Saturday (10/20) and after his parents could not locate the child, they called the sheriff's office.  The sheriff's office Search and Rescue team along with the DPS helicopter, were called out to assist in the search. Trackers narrowed the search to an area in a wash, DPS helicopter located him at approximately 3:30 pm, about 3 miles from home along with three family dogs.  He was in fair condition, dehydrated, cuts and bruises and extremely upset.  Carr was treated at the scene by paramedics and released to his parents.

ASSAULT - DOLAN SPRINGS
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Charles Youngblood, 55, Dolan Springs, Saturday (10/20) afternoon for assault/domestic violence, a misdemeanor.  At approximately 1:30 pm, deputies responded to a call in the 18000 block of Redlake Drive reference an assault.  Officers contacted the victim, a 47 year old female, who reportedly had been struck in the eye during a physical altercation with her husband.  Deputies contacted Youngblood, who appeared extremely intoxicated, outside the VFW in Dolan Springs where he had just been kicked out of the bar.  He admitted to being at the residence but denied striking the victim.  Youngblood was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested James Schultz, 21, Kingman, Friday (10/19) evening for disorderly conduct/domestic violence, a misdemeanor.  At approximately 11:00 pm, deputies were called to the 4700 block of Tracy Lane for a disturbance.  Officers contacted the victim, a 21 year old female who had reportedly been involved in a verbal altercation with Schultz.  Other residents also reported that Schultz was being loud and disruptive.  Schultz was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
